Longtime lurker here, I've been here for 5 years and With a population of 8,612, Covington is a small town. Homes are going for about $163,900 on average. The median home value here is around $163,900, which is actually reasonable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I wrong here? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
