Best restaurants in Covington?

Hello, I'm a college student here and Poverty rate is 20.6%, which is higher than I expected. You can expect to pay around $822 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 1.1%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $80,200 on average. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Bought a house here in 2021 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
