Things Craig needs to improve

So, You can expect to pay around $1,142 for rent here. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Eastside. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in government. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Hope this helps!.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 4 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into running, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Downtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

Came here for retirement and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The dating scene is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
