Best areas to explore in Craig Beach?

Been meaning to ask this. The median home value here is around $144,600, which is actually reasonable. Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Craig Beach sits at 191.5 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Does this match your experience? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Cedar Grove. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Hope this helps!.
