What Crawfordsville does better than anywhere else

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. traffic used to be much reasonable but now it's average.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Charlotte about 7 years ago. The main reasons were family and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Not very walkable outside downtown
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are affordable, gas is pretty good.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
