Raising a family in Cresaptown -thoughts?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 1 years and It's a a small town city with about 5,238 people. Rent is about $838/month for a decent place. Median household income is $53,804, which feels on the lower side for the area. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to.
Pros:
- Growing food scene
- Low crime in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
Cons:
- Not very walkable
- Boring for young people
- Not enough green space
