Life in Crestline as a young professional

Hi all, You can expect to pay around $1,488 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this? Any help is appreciated.

The food scene here is underrated. Tons of great BBQ places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cost of living, you'll love it. The cultural scene is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (East) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Chain restaurants dominate.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.
