Considering Crestview vs Seattle -help me decide

Alright, Homes are going for about $266,500 on average. Average temperature is around 67--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 1.5%, which is pretty low. With a population of 28,046, Crestview is a smaller city. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Old Town for 10 years. Moved from Raleigh for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is average. We bought in 2015 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. Older homes are where the value is.

**Employment:**
tech is strong here. legal is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are developing for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's not perfect but it works for me. The outdoor scene is solid - we have biking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Old Town schools are challenging. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Homeless population growing downtown. Limited entertainment options. And school system can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 8/10. Definitely worth checking out.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Old Town area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.
