Hey folks, I've been here for 2 years and Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 10,622, Crestwood is a small town. Median household income is $68,686, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $187,700, which is actually reasonable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Would love some local perspective. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
