Housing in Cridersville compared to Portland

So, Household incomes average around $65,679 in Cridersville. It's a a small town city with about 2,018 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Would love some local perspective. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's exactly what I was looking for. Internet is pretty good in most areas.
