Hi all, Been living here since 2007. Rent is about $1,659/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 4.7%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Crowley sits at 237.1 per 100K. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
