Just moved here 8 months ago and Rent is about $848/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $39,032 in Crump. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Should I be concerned? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to.

I've lived in West for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The nightlife scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Chain restaurants dominate
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great Mediterranean places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is dating scene. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.
