Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 4.1%, which is pretty low. Should I be concerned?

I've lived in Highland for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening
- The public transit scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited shopping options
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Hope this helps!.
