Thinking about relocating to Crystal Lake from Los Angeles

So, Born and raised here. The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I wrong here? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
