Unpopular opinion about Cumberland Hill

Hello, It's a a small town city with about 8,638 people. Poverty rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've lived in Springfield for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good schools in most areas
- The weather scene is tough

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Hope this helps!.
