Moving to Cupertino with kids -good idea?

OK so Just moved here 4 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Cupertino sits at 91.1 per 100K. Homes are going for about $2,000,001 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What are your go-to spots? Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I'm a project manager and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.
