Raising a family in Cusseta-Chattahoochee County unified government -thoughts?

Curious what people think. I'm a 33-year-old data analyst and Rent is about $1,235/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 9,181 people. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Anyone in a similar situation? Cheers. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I've lived in Highland for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- The weather scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'm a nurse and I've found I love the pace of life here. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.
