Career opportunities in Cut Off, LA

Curious what people think. You can expect to pay around $759 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What do you all think? The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

I've lived in East for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Decent public transit for the size
- The public transit scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
