Anyone else feel this way? We're a young couple and The median home value here is around $870,100, which is pretty steep. Household incomes average around $124,167 in Cypress. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great.

I'm a project manager and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. The community is excellent and there's always something going on.

I've lived in West for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- The cultural scene scene is tough
The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. No regrets on my end..

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.
