Cypress is underrated, change my mind

First post here. I'm a college student here and Median household income is $124,167, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $870,100, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 12 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
