Random thought, I'm a remote worker and Median household income is $124,167, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $870,100 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in The Heights. It's better than expected for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally decent. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like sushi.
