Cost of living reality check -Cypress Gardens

Hello, I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $1,540/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I work in marketing here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is pretty good. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Bought a house here in 2023 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is safety. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..
