Homes are going for about $237,700 on average. Rent is about $1,699/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Anyone in a similar situation? Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.
I've been here 4 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is decent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
