Not sure if this has been asked before, but The median home value here is around $237,700, which is actually reasonable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I wrong here? The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much pricey but now it's tough.
