Dade City North in the winter -how bad?

Anyone else feel this way? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Should I be concerned? I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I'm a software engineer and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from Phoenix about 14 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Low crime in most neighborhoods

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are wild, gas is pretty good.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is underrated in most areas.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Close to major attractions
- The cost of living scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Summers can be brutally hot

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
