Remote worker thinking about Dakota Ridge

First post here. My family moved here when I was a kid. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 1.8%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $120,368 in Dakota Ridge. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The housing market is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
