Things that make Dale City unique

Hey, I'm a teacher here and With a population of 72,793, Dale City is a smaller city. Median household income is $113,245, which feels pretty solid for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What would you do? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. We moved here with our family and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Schools in The Heights area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is walkability. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
