Anyone regret moving to Dallas?
Been living here since 2023. Rent is about $1,355/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 14,440 people. The unemployment rate is 4.6%, which is about average. Poverty rate is 11.8%, which is around average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
