Unpopular opinion about Dallas

Curious what people think. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a small town city with about 14,440 people. With a population of 14,440, Dallas is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Any advice would be great. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I've lived in Midtown for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Strong job market in several industries
- The safety scene is improving

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Definitely worth checking out..
