Job market in Dallas for tech?

Been meaning to ask this. Born and raised here. The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $794/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Should I be concerned? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
