First post here. I'm a college student here and Rent is about $1,403/month for a decent place. With a population of 1.3M, Dallas is a major city. It's a a major city city with about 1.3M people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Would love some local perspective. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
