Unpopular opinion about Dalton

I'm a 35-year-old electrician and Crime rate is something to consider -Dalton sits at 269.0 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $924 for rent here. Poverty rate is 13.7%, which is around average. Rent is about $924/month for a decent place. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Anyone in a similar situation? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up.

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much pricey but now it's improving.

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
