Is Daly City worth moving to in 2026?
Been meaning to ask this. I'm retired and Homes are going for about $1,092,700 on average. Household incomes average around $119,570 in Daly City. Poverty rate is 4.2%, which is pretty low. With a population of 103K, Daly City is a mid-size city. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Any advice would be great. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
