Been living here since 2007. Median household income is $119,570, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 103K, Daly City is a mid-size city. It's a a mid-size city city with about 103K people. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development.
