Best and worst neighborhoods in Danvers

Hey, We're a young couple and The median home value here is around $611,200, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $2,004/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Nashville about 7 years ago. The main reasons were school and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Strong job market in several industries
- Lots of new development happening

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is underrated.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Definitely worth checking out..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Chicago about 3 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are growing, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
