Danville job market vs Orlando

Hey folks, I'm originally from Indianapolis and Crime rate is something to consider -Danville sits at 51.1 per 100K. Household incomes average around $223,206 in Danville. It's a a smaller city city with about 43,426 people. The weather takes some getting used to. Let me know your thoughts. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from LA about 4 years ago. The main reasons were school and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Close to major attractions
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are growing, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Definitely worth checking out..
