Longtime lurker here, Crime rate is something to consider -Danville sits at 51.1 per 100K. The median home value here is around $1,583,300, which is pretty steep. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Does this match your experience? The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
