What surprised you most about Danville?

Hey everyone, Poverty rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $3,501 for rent here. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Should I be concerned? Any help is appreciated. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals
- The food scene scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. I love the pace of life here. Worth doing your research before committing.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.
