Longtime lurker here, I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. The unemployment rate is 4.6%, which is about average. The median home value here is around $76,800, which is actually reasonable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Let me know your thoughts. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
