Cheapest neighborhoods in Danville?

Curious what people think. We're a young couple and Crime rate is something to consider -Danville sits at 262.6 per 100K. Homes are going for about $269,400 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Chicago it's challenging.
