Best neighborhoods in Danville

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Median household income is $53,370, which feels on the lower side for the area. Average temperature is around 55--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 17,235, Danville is a small town. You can expect to pay around $767 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Growing food scene
- Diverse community
- Low taxes
- Lots of new development

Cons:
- Cold winters
- Limited nightlife
- Not enough green space
Should I be concerned? Cheers. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much reasonable but now it's challenging.
