Job hunting in Daphne -tips?

Curious what people think. It's a a smaller city city with about 28,673 people. The unemployment rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Daphne sits at 170.1 per 100K. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Is this normal for Daphne? Thanks! The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Moved here from Raleigh about 9 years ago. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Still getting used to safety but No regrets on my end..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. Happy to answer more specific questions..
