How are the schools in Darien?

My partner and I are It's a a small town city with about 21,855 people. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in Old Town for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The pet-friendliness scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Nightlife is limited

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Happy to answer more specific questions..

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Pine Hills area are average. Kids love it here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from New York about 2 years ago. The main reasons were weather and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are wild, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. healthcare used to be much manageable but now it's tough.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, Hope this helps!.
