Best neighborhoods in Davie

Hey everyone, Just moved here 2 months ago and You can expect to pay around $1,967 for rent here. Homes are going for about $433,600 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is underrated in most areas.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 9 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.

I've lived in Riverside for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The community vibe scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. No regrets on my end..

Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 10 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into running, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
