Rent vs buy in Davis -what makes sense?

Alright, Homes are going for about $829,000 on average. The suburbs are where most families end up. What do you all think? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Bought a house here in 2023 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. the quality of life is solid. Internet is excellent in most areas.
