What surprised you most about Dayton?

We're a young couple and Poverty rate is 19.9%, which is higher than I expected. Rent is about $1,086/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

First time home buyer in Dayton

Hello, Born and raised here. Median household income is $62,500, which feels about average for the area. Homes are going for about $144,100 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I wrong here?

Biggest downsides of living in Dayton?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Household incomes average around $62,500 in Dayton. It's a a small town city with about 5,703 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
