Job market in Dayton for tech?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm retired and Household incomes average around $79,556 in Dayton. The unemployment rate is 7.7%, which is concerning. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Anyone in a similar situation?

Used to live on the Greenfield side, now on the Sunset side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.
