Came here for quality of life and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The dating scene is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in The Heights. It's tough for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in marketing. If you're in construction you might struggle.
People: Generally better than expected. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..
