Anyone work in healthcare in Dearborn Heights?

Hey everyone, I relocated for work and Household incomes average around $61,035 in Dearborn Heights. Poverty rate is 16.4%, which is higher than I expected. You can expect to pay around $1,260 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 4.3%, which is about average. It's a a smaller city city with about 62,099 people. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Would love some local perspective. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 11 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
