Dearborn Heights in the winter -how bad?

Hey folks, Rent is about $1,260/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Looking forward to hearing from you all. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and it exceeded my expectations. Schools in Lakewood area are decent. Kids love it here.
